An Atlanta native and graduate of Woodward Academy, Celeste Gaines continued on to Florida State University, where she earned a Bachelors of Arts in Business Management and Spanish and a Juris Doctorate with a concentration in Business Law. After law school, Ms. Gaines returned to Atlanta where she now works as a Staff Counsel II, Enterprise Technology + Sourcing Transactions, at McKesson Corporation. Prior to joining McKesson, she also litigated matters primarily in the areas of commercial real estate, franchise law, personal injury and construction defect. Ms. Gaines represents the Gate City Bar Association as a member of the GLSP Board of Directors.

Georgia Legal Services Program (GLSP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation funded in part by the Legal Services Corporation (LSC). As a condition of the funding it receives from LSC, it is restricted from engaging in certain activities in all of its legal work – including work supported by other funding sources. GLSP may not expend any funds for any activity prohibited by the Legal Services Corporation Act, 42 U.S.C.2996 et seq. or by Public Law 104-134. Public Law 104-134 § 504 (d) requires that notice of these restrictions be given to all funders of programs funded by the Legal Services Corporation.
